Ofelia Omoyele Balogun

With Italian & Nigerian backgrounds, Ofelia has chosen dance as her introspective and life journey tool. In 2012 moved to London where she had been training African, Afro Caribbean and Contemporary dance at the London Metropolitan University. With a mixed dance and personal backgrounds, she’s been interested in the movement itself and its development, including yoga and meditation practice in her everyday dancing journey.

After traveling and training at the Danza Contemporánea de Cuba, she decided to continue her career in Afro Cuban dances, blending with her experimenta dance anauage and dance theatre technigues. Her credits include Ballet Nimba, Britain’s Got Talent semi-final, I love myself hip hop dance company, Iris! Dance theatre.
